After working as a medical assistant for over fifteen years, I realized what I loved most about each workday was assisting patients with tasks that went beyond my basic responsibilities. The moments I enjoyed most were the ones where I helped a patient who "forgot his glasses" fill out a form or by bringing a snack to the group home resident that was being seen that day.
When I was presented with the opportunity to focus more on helping clients with daily home care, I knew it was what I wanted to do. Originally, I was part of a 24-hour-a-day team to help with the care of two gentlemen named Murray and Wayne. It didn't take long to learn there was a definite need in our area for services that go beyond typical care. I knew a business degree would be a valuable asset, and as a native of Savannah, Savannah State University was the best choice. Soon after completing my degree in Business Administration, I started formulating my business plan to create what is now For Keepsake Care Services. I consider my company to be a tribute to the memory of Wayne and Murray. Since we like to know about our clients, I would like to share some personal details about myself. During my free time, I enjoy community service, running, and ministry. I have one child in middle school, one in college, and one serving our country in the Air Force. As Founder and CEO of For Keepsake Care Services, I strive to be available for current and potential clients.
